Solution — 3PL & warehousing inventory

The stock isn't yours. Knowing exactly whose it is — that's the job.

A third-party warehouse lives or dies on one answer: who owns what, where, and how much. Fast Inventory keeps every client's goods in their own stores and locations, gives you supplier- and customer-wise visibility including customer-wise location, and reports warehouse-wise balances that still roll up to one picture. One configurable system, cloud or on-premise, India and worldwide — no mixing, no guessing.

Why 3PL and warehousing operators choose Fast Inventory

The stock problems every
multi-client warehouse recognises

One client's stock bleeds into another's report

When several owners share a warehouse and a single spreadsheet, one client's goods end up on another's count. A billing dispute is only a matter of time.

"How much of ours do you hold?" takes hours

A client calls for their on-hand by location and someone has to hand-total it from a dozen sheets. The answer is slow, and often wrong by the time it's given.

Multi-warehouse means multiple blind spots

Stock is spread across sites with no single view. Nobody can compare warehouses or roll them up, so an owner's total is a phone-around exercise.

Inward and outward aren't auditable

Goods come and go without a controlled gate pass and ledger, so when a discrepancy surfaces there's no trail of who moved what, when, or on whose instruction.

How Fast Inventory fixes each one
Client-segregated storesEach owner's goods live in their own configured stores and locations, so one client's stock never appears on another's balance or count — no mixing, ever.
Customer-wise, including by locationAnswer who owns it, where it sits and how much there is in seconds — supplier- and customer-wise visibility, including customer-wise location, straight off the ledger.
Warehouse-wise balancesSee one warehouse, compare across sites, and roll everything up to a company-wide picture, with item-by-location cross-reference behind every number.
Gate pass and immutable ledgerEvery inward and outward moves on a gate pass and posts to an immutable ledger — a full trail of who moved what, when, and on whose instruction.
Warehouse flow

Inward to outward —
every movement tagged to its owner

From the gate to the shelf and back out again, each movement is tagged to the client who owns the goods and posted to one ledger — so a client's on-hand by location is always a query away, not a stocktake away.

Fast Inventory gives 3PL operators the one thing a shared warehouse needs most — a clean, per-owner picture that a client can trust and you can bill against.

01 — Client-segregated stock

Many owners, one warehouse, zero mixing

Because stores and locations are configuration, not hardcoded logic, you set up a store structure per client and hold as many owners in one building as you like. One client's goods never land on another's balance, count or valuation. Add a new client and you add stores — you don't buy new software or rebuild your setup.

02 — Supplier- & customer-wise visibility

Who owns it, and where it's sitting

Every balance can be read supplier-wise and customer-wise, including customer-wise location — so when a client asks for their on-hand at a specific site, the answer comes straight off the ledger, not a manual total. Item-by-location cross-reference ties any item to every place it sits, so nothing is hidden in an unreported corner.

03 — Warehouse-wise balances

One site, many sites — one rollup

Stock is held as a per-warehouse and per-location balance, so you can look at a single site, compare across warehouses, and still roll everything into one company-wide total. Reports slice by warehouse, by client and by item-location, and physical stock taking reconciles each site against system quantity through a controlled adjustment — the count never quietly changes stock.

04 — Gate pass & immutable ledger

Every movement in and out — fully traceable

Inward and outward movements run on a gate pass that logs the vehicle and the goods, and every posting lands on an immutable stock ledger — nothing editable, everything recorded with serial numbers. When a client queries a shortage or a billing period, you produce the exact trail of who moved what, when, and on whose instruction. Optional blockchain-mode ledger is available where a tamper-evident record is contractually required.

05 — Where Fast WMS takes over

Need directed work? That's the superset

Fast Inventory answers stock accuracy — who owns what, where, and how much — with barcode entry and warehouse-wise balances. When you need to direct the labour on the floor — pallet and bin optimization, directed putaway, wave picking and scanner-driven handheld execution — that's Fast WMS, the superset that runs on the very same engine and switches those capabilities on. Start with accurate stock; add directed execution when the volume demands it.

FAQ

3PL & warehousing inventory —
what operators ask us

How does it keep each client's stock separate?

Each owner's goods sit in their own configured stores and locations, so one client's stock never appears on another's balance, count or valuation — many clients in one warehouse, no mixing.

Can I see stock customer-wise and by location?

Yes. Supplier- and customer-wise visibility, including customer-wise location, answers who owns it, where it sits and how much there is — straight off the ledger.

Does it give warehouse-wise balances?

Yes. Stock is a per-warehouse and per-location balance, so you can view one site, compare across sites, and still roll everything up to one company-wide picture.

Does it do directed putaway and handheld picking?

That's Fast WMS, the superset on the same engine. Fast Inventory covers stock accuracy, ownership and barcode entry; Fast WMS adds directed putaway, picking and handheld execution.

Is every movement auditable?

Yes. Inward and outward run on a gate pass and post to an immutable ledger — nothing editable, all serial-numbered — so you can produce a full trail per client for billing or a dispute.

Is it cloud or on-premise?

Either. Fast Inventory runs cloud and on-premise for 3PL and warehousing operators across India and worldwide, on one configurable engine.
